Registry Nominations
Submit a Blunder
The Registry accepts nominations for new entries. All submissions are reviewed by the Registry Committee against the following inclusion criteria:
- The blunder must be specific enough to be actionable — a person should be able to recognize it and, in theory, avoid it.
- The blunder must be general enough to recur across contexts — it should not describe a single event but a class of events.
- The blunder must be sufficiently documented in the historical record to resist dismissal as isolated incident. One example does not constitute a pattern. Three examples constitute a pattern. The Registry prefers five.
Review timelines are not available. The Registry Committee has not met since 2019. Submissions are logged and held for the next convening. We cannot confirm when that will be. We have not stopped expecting it.
